ایاﻙ نعبد This word is used in Surah Fatiha. It also uses ایاﻙ. But what does this word means?
نعبد Means that we worship. It is similar to the words in the shape of "یفعل" (We have taught these in previous lectures, if you don't remember, you can check out Lecture # 02 and Lecture #07).
نعبدﻙ Means that we worship you. But this is incomplete. For example, christians also worship God (Allah (S.W.T)) than go to church and also worship Jesus. In Islam, Muslims are supposed to worship only Allah (S.W.T) and nobody else. Therefore, Allah used the word :
ایاﻙ نعبد Means that we only worship you [Allah (S.W.T)]. This is complete as it potrays the message that we only worship Allah (S.W.T) and nobody else.

FOR EXAMPLE
Pronouns Meaning
ایاﻙ نستعین This word is also used in Surah Fatiha. It also uses ایاﻙ. But what does this word means?
نستعین Means that we ask for help. It is similar to the words in the shape of "افتعال" (We have taught these in previous lectures, if you don't remember, you can check out Lecture # 04 and Lecture #07).
نعبدﻙ Means that we ask for help from you. But this is incomplete. For example, christians also ask for help from God (Allah (S.W.T)) than go to church and also ask for help from Jesus. In Islam, Muslims are supposed to ask for help only from Allah (S.W.T) and nobody else. Therefore, Allah (S.W.T) used the word :
ایاﻙ نستعین Means that we only ask for help from You [Allah (S.W.T)]. This is complete as it potrays the message that we only ask help from Allah (S.W.T) and nobody else.

TOGETHER IT BECOMES
ایاﻙ نعبد و ایاﻙ نستعین
We only worship You [Allah (S.W.T)] and We only ask help from You [Allah (S.W.T)]

THIS & THAT

FOR EXAMPLE
Pronouns Meaning
ذا This
ھذا This (Male)
ذلک That (Male)
ھذان These two
ھؤلاء These (Male & Female both)
أولئک Those (Male & Female both)
ھذہ This (female)
تلک That (female)

Sometimes "ذلک" is also used to represent something that is far in status not by distance. For example :

TOGETHER IT BECOMES
ذلک الکتاب
That book [Quran]

In above example, the Quran (book) is right infront of the reader but the word "ذلک" is used to tell that it is great in status and out of reach of humans & jins to make one.

Note: "ذلک" is also used when representing both male and female at the same time. Otherwise, "ذلک" is used for males. But in times where Allah is talking to both of them than also "ذلک" is used.

Note: This and That are not used for humans in Quran except to insult them. Otherwise, Pronouns taught above "This & That" & in previous lectures are used.

Congragulations! You have completed your nineth day task. Revise thoroughly what we have taught you above. Practice all Pronouns as much as you can as they are used very much in the Quran.
